Regional Interlibrary Loan
MASSACHUSETTS LIBRARY SYSTEM INTERLIBRARY LOAN
The Thomas Crane Public Library is an Interlibrary Loan
Processing Center for the Massachusetts Library System (MLS), providing
mediated interlibrary loan borrowing service to MLS member
libraries.
If you are an individual, not a library, and live in a Massachusetts community, please contact your local library to submit an interlibrary loan request.
Request Loans from Quincy ILL
MLS member libraries may submit ILL requests for books,
CDs, cassettes, DVDs, videos and other returnable items, as well as photocopies of pages from books and other monographs, to the Quincy ILL Center.
If you do not know your ID number and password, or if you experience any difficulty logging in, please e-mail the Quincy ILL Center or call the Center at 877-531-4875 (toll-free) or 617-376-1319.

Request Journal Articles
MLS member libraries may submit requests for photocopies
of newspaper or journal articles to the Boston Public Library using the ILLiad electronic request system. Libraries may
also use ILLiad to request photocopies of obituaries from
Massachusetts newspapers (both name and death date of deceased
must be provided) and direct loans from the BPL collection. Requests for deposit collections of large print or foreign language materials should be sent to ask@bpl.org.
